Key Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure to practice as a speech-language pathologist
  • ASHA certification or Clinical Fellowship (CF or CCC’s) required
  • Prior experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress effectively

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and district guidelines
  • Educate and mentor staff on strategies to foster communication development
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current on best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
