Maintenance Coordinator – 2nd Shift
Location: Gloucester, MA
About the Opportunity
We’re hiring a Maintenance Coordinator to lead and support 2nd Shift operations at a well-established food manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and provide hands-on leadership to the maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and proven leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and guide the activities of 2nd Shift maintenance technicians.
- Handle scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to keep production running smoothly.
- Create daily maintenance plans aligned with production goals.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve challenges and improve processes.
- Mentor and train team members in technical skills and safe work practices.
- Accurately document work completed in the CMMS system.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food, beverage, or consumer goods preferred).
- Previous leadership or supervisory background in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; electrical/controls knowledge a plus.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and computer proficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead by example in a hands-on role.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $80,000 – $92,000 annually
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO
- Retirement: 401k with company match
