Job Description Adelphi is seeking qualified full-time and part-time Educational Teachers to provide on-site educational services in multiple settings throughout Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will provide individualized academic instruction to youth in the care and/or custody of the Massachusetts juvenile justice system, correctional facilities, or other institutional settings while supporting students’ academic progress, educational needs, and successful participation in High School, HiSET/GED preparation, and/or post-secondary coursework.

Requirements:
• Must be licensed as a teacher by the State of Massachusetts or be waiver eligible.
• Must be qualified to provide educational services based on requirements established by CES.
• Experience teaching current or former justice-involved youth or students in institutional settings in Massachusetts is required.
Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site educational instruction to youth in DYS Education Initiative and/or SEIS programs.
• Deliver instruction designed to meet the personalized academic needs of assigned students.
• Provide educational services to youth up to age 22 in secure residential and institutional settings.
• Support students participating in High School, HiSET/GED preparation, and/or post-secondary coursework.
• Maintain confidentiality of all student information and educational records.
• Participate in and complete required CES, DYS, SEIS, and facility-specific training.
• Follow all CES and Host Agency policies, procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
• Maintain required licensure, training, timekeeping, and other employment-related records.
• Work collaboratively with CES personnel and other relevant stakeholders to address student, program, or service-related concerns.
• Perform educational duties consistent with the requirements of the assigned DYS/SEIS program and facility.
• Any other duties as assigned.
