Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the unique mental health needs of clients, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others, to individuals, families, and groups.

  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
  • \n

  • Deliver crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress, facilitating access to immediate support and resources.
  • \n

  • Participate in community outreach programs, educational workshops, and initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health awareness across Springfield.
  • \n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers around serving a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. The therapist will address a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. By fostering strong therapeutic relationships, you will empower clients to make progress in their mental health journeys, ultimately leading to improved overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  • A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related human service field.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish meaningful rapport with clients.
