Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Framingham, MA is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 4 through 7. This contract position covers the current school year and is perfect for an educator experienced in middle school special education who is ready to make a meaningful impact on student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Provide instruction and support to students in grades 4-7 with diverse learning challenges
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to optimize educational outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families and administration

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid state certification in Special Education
  • Experience teaching special education students, preferably in middle school settings
  • Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and accommodations for diverse learners
