Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An immediate opening is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in an elementary school setting in Chicopee, MA. This contract position covers a leave of absence and requires a highly skilled professional to deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in grades K-4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small group speech-language therapy in both direct and inclusion classroom environments
  • Conduct evaluations to determine IEP eligibility
  • Write and contribute to IEP development and participate in IEP meetings
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress regularly
  • Deliver make-up services as needed to address previously unfilled therapy sessions

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification with a focus on school-based practice
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in public school settings
  • Ability to complete district onboarding requirements and maintain compliance with school policies
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators and parents

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: Immediate start through approximately February 13, 2026; with possible extension for make-up services
  • Hours: 17 hours per week
  • Location: Elementary school setting in Chicopee, MA
