Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally aware, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, fostering a welcoming environment for individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Deliver customized outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to the specific needs and situations of each client, promoting healing and resilience.
  • Create detailed crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support clients in maintaining stability and empowerment in their mental health journey.
  • Actively engage in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning, contributing your expertise to improve client care.
  • Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, maintaining the highest standards of professional accountability.
  • Collaborate with our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists to provide a comprehensive approach to mental health care.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with children and families is essential.
  • Possess a provisional license if required by state regulations.
  • Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing.
  • Demonstrate a passion for mental health and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Dedicated to continuous professional development in mental health, including access to free supervision and ongoing education.
  • Enthusiastic about collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Our organization is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this position is $42.50 – $47.50 per billable unit. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven adjustments, and available incentive opportunities. These ranges reflect our current compensation practices and may be updated over time to remain competitive and aligned with organizational needs.
