Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support early childhood students in an elementary school setting. This position focuses on delivering individualized instruction and fostering an inclusive learning environment for young learners with diverse educational needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing specialized education plans tailored to the unique needs of students in early childhood.
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth and success.
  • Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate records, and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Creating a positive, nurturing classroom climate that promotes social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development activities to stay current on best practices in special education.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with kindergarten and elementary school students, particularly in early childhood education.
  • Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEP) and ability to implement accommodations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Location: Brockton, MA, at an early childhood elementary school.
