Job Description
ABOUT ONE FC
\n
\n
ONE FC is a youth soccer academy founded and led by three European professionals — Blaise Matuidi, Kieran Gibbs, and Sylvain Marveaux — who competed at PSG, Juventus, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Rennes. We bring that professional standard to young players in a supportive, development-first environment, and we are committed to keeping high-quality soccer accessible to players of every level.
\n
\n
THE ROLE
\n
\n
We are hiring a part-time Youth Soccer Coach to lead training for our Byfield team. You will run three sessions a week, own the session plan and the season arc, and be the coach these kids remember.
\n
\n
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
\n
\n
• Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 5:45–7:15 PM
\n
• The Governor's Academy, 1 Elm St, Byfield, MA 01922
\n
• Occasional weekend matches
\n
• Roughly 30 minutes from Newburyport, 45 from Boston's North Shore
\n
\n
WHAT YOU'LL DO
\n
\n
• Plan and lead three 90-minute training sessions each week for a Youth Team
\n
• Build a season-long development plan and adapt sessions to the players in front of you
\n
• Coach technical skill and game understanding, with individual feedback that players and parents can actually see progress against
\n
• Prepare the team for matches and manage game-day
\n
• Keep every session safe, organized, and genuinely fun
\n
• Communicate clearly and proactively with families
\n
• Work with academy leadership to keep raising the standard of the program
\n
\n
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
\n
\n
• Experience coaching youth soccer, in a club, academy, or school setting
\n
• Coaching license preferred (USSF grassroots or above, UEFA, or equivalent), or willingness to pursue one — we will support it
\n
• Someone parents and kids trust: clear, patient, and consistent
\n
• Reliable availability Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings
\n
• Ability to pass a background check and complete required youth-safety training
\n
• Playing background at a competitive level is a plus, not a requirement
\n
\n
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
\n
\n
• $700-1000 per month
\n
• ONE FC gear and training kit
\n
• Support toward coaching licenses and continuing education
\n
• Direct exposure to the methodology of coaches trained in European professional environments
\n
\n

\n
\n
ONE FC is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome coaches of all backgrounds and are committed to an inclusive environment for every player and staff member.
