This full-time role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, with the option to engage in face-to-face interactions at our community health clinic. Work Environment\n

As part of our dedicated team, you will experience a collaborative and nurturing work environment. Our approach is trauma-informed, allowing our therapists to effectively address the unique needs of our patients. The work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. You will have the opportunity to support patients through various modalities, including both individual and group therapy, all while utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain thorough documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.

  • Utilize evidenced-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster healing.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop essential coping strategies.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated and holistic care experience for our patients.

  • Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, connecting them with available resources.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse patient population comprised of individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This may include survivors of abuse, neglect, military combat, and natural disasters. Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

  • Must hold a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
  • \n

  • Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

  • Expertise in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building practices.
  • \n

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering therapies designed for trauma recovery.
  • \n

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor is essential.

  • Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and effectively address patient needs.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software and a strong aptitude for relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
