Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is looking for a skilled Associate Attorney to join our client's team in Boston. This position offers an excellent opportunity to manage complex litigation cases and collaborate with clients on a variety of legal matters. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in civil litigation and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services in the insurance defense space. This is a hybrid opportunity 2-3 days a week work from home.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct client consultations to understand their legal needs and provide strategic advice.
• Analyze and interpret medical records to support case development and reporting.
• Prepare and draft legal motions, briefs, and other necessary documents.
• Lead and participate in depositions to gather critical information for cases.
• Engage in motion practice, presenting arguments effectively to advance case objectives.
• Collaborate with legal partners and other professionals to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Handle discovery processes, including gathering evidence and managing case documentation.
• Plan for potential trials and support trial preparations as cases progress.
• Stay informed on legal trends and developments to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Possess 1-3 years of experience in medical malpractice, insurance defense, or general litigation.
• Demonstrate proficiency in legal motion practices and conducting depositions.
• Exhibit strong skills in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Have a solid understanding of civil litigation processes and procedures.
• Show ability to manage discovery and evidence gathering.
• Be detail-oriented and capable of handling complex case documentation.
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and partner interactions1
