Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a school setting is preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- Current certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Strong familiarity with tiered interventions and SEL (Social Emotional Learning) curriculum
- Experience supporting students working on counseling goals as outlined in IEPs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological services to middle school-aged students in accordance with best practices and legal standards
- Assess students’ needs and offer targeted interventions addressing behavioral, mental health, social, and emotional issues
- Develop and implement individualized counseling plans and interventions for students with IEP counseling goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and apply effective tiered supports and SEL programs
- Conduct student evaluations and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Deliver professional guidance and consultation to staff and families as needed
