Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for full-time Special Education teaching roles within a K-12 setting, serving students with a variety of needs in Merrimack, NH. The contract position runs from August 25, 2025, through June 19, 2026, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with developmental delays and intensive educational needs.
- Manage caseloads varying in complexity, including placements in intensive classrooms serving severe developmental delays.
- Collaborate with educational teams to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per school and district guidelines.
- Engage with families and staff to support student growth and developmental goals.
Qualifications:
- An active New Hampshire Special Education license is required and non-negotiable.
- Certification or experience in intensive needs or other specialized caseload areas preferred.
- Willingness to work onsite full-time; hybrid arrangements may be considered for some applicants.
- Candidates with Statements of Eligibility (SOE) are encouraged to apply as expedited licensure processes may be available.
