Job Details:

\n

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient care plans
\n • Provide patient care based on established standards, protocols, and policies
\n • Deliver patient and family education based on identified learning needs
\n • Collaborate in discharge planning incorporating support systems and resources
\n • Delegate and supervise nursing interventions performed by other team members
\n • Prioritize patient care and seek assistance from appropriate resources as needed
\n • Provide thorough, timely, and accurate documentation of patient data and interventions
\n • Deliver comprehensive reports to healthcare team members for care continuity
\n • Safely administer medications and intravenous therapy per physician orders
\n • Assess patient pain levels using numerical pain scale and reassess effectiveness
\n • Perform accurate identification and interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias and EKG changes
\n • Monitor and document thrombolytic and anticoagulation therapy protocols
\n • Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical ventilation modes, settings, and patient care
\n • Interpret arterial blood gases, pulse oximetry, and clinical gas exchange features
\n • Assist with hemodynamic monitoring procedures and equipment setup
\n • Administer vasoactive medications with understanding of dosage and titration parameters
\n • Provide post-operative assessment and monitoring per established protocols
\n • Participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounds for patient care coordination
\n • Current Massachusetts RN License required
\n • ACLS certification upon hire or active BLS with ACLS within 60 days
\n • CCRN certification preferred
\n • 1 year medical-surgical experience preferred
\n • Previous telemetry experience required
\n • ICU experience preferred
