Job DescriptionBEC Services Limited is an Electrical Contractor searching for an electrical estimator to add to our team. **Annual salary range: $75,000.00 to $104,000.00 We offer a very generous benefits package as well as 401K retirement, paid holiday's, sick and vacation time.
In this position, it will be your job to analyze the elements of an electrical project and create an accurate cost estimation for the project. Software used: Conest Software Systems, Bluebeam Software, and Trimble Software for pricing.

Electrical Estimator Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Relevant experience in electrical estimating, construction, or a related field.
Experience with Conest Software Systems is required.
Bluebeam knowledge is a plus.
Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Outstanding level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to project scope, costs, and timelines.

Responsibilities:

Analyzing Project Documents: Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand the electrical scope of work.
Cost Estimation: Calculating the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and other resources needed for the electrical portion of a project.
Bid Preparation: Preparing detailed cost estimates and proposals for potential projects, ensuring they are competitive and accurate.
Perform accurate take-offs and quantify estimates.
Obtain quotes from subcontractors and vendors.
Have exceptional communication skills with customers and subcontractors.
Attend walk-throughs as needed. Professional demeanor and appearance.
Report Generation: Preparing detailed reports and presentations on cost estimates for management review.
