Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching License
- Strong background working with students in special education, particularly those with behavioral or mental health needs
- Experience in case management, creating and implementing IEPs, and conducting evaluations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to middle school students in a self-contained mental health/behavior classroom (approximately 10-16 students)
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt lessons to suit varied learning needs
- Conduct student evaluations, manage IEP compliance, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in meetings with staff and families to support student development
- Offer behavioral and emotional support tailored to each student’s requirements
- Maintain a structured, compassionate classroom environment that fosters trust and positive change
Details:
- Full-time, contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year (September 1, 2026 - June 16, 2027)
- Scheduled hours are 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM, totaling 32.5–35 hours per week
