???? Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Transform Mental Health in Your Community

???? Pay Scale: $170,560 – $189,800 (based on experience)
???? Full-Time | Exempt | Mental Health Expansion Department
Location: Greater Seacoast Community Health (GSCH)

Are you driven by purpose, compassion, and the desire to make a meaningful impact?
Do you believe mental health care should be accessible, integrated, and rooted in human connection?

At Greater Seacoast Community Health, we’re expanding our mental health services — and we are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is ready to bring their expertise, heart, and clinical excellence to a growing, mission-driven community health network.

Join a team united by compassion, collaboration, and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy and emotionally thriving life.

???? Why This Role Matters

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at GSCH, you will play a pivotal role in providing lifesaving, stigma-reducing, and community-centered mental health care. You’ll work alongside an interdisciplinary team that values respect, integrity, and excellence — and you’ll help shape the future of mental health care across the Seacoast.

This is more than a clinical role.
It is an opportunity to:

  • Build long-term therapeutic relationships
  • Provide culturally informed, trauma-responsive psychiatric care
  • Impact patients who may not otherwise have access to mental health services
  • Be part of a collaborative environment where your voice truly matters

???? What You’ll Do

Psychiatric Assessment & Clinical Care

  • Complete psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and mental status exams
  • Assess risk, including suicide, homicide, and safety concerns
  • Screen for substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions

Psychopharmacology

  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
  • Monitor progress, side effects, adherence, and therapeutic response

Psychotherapeutic Interventions

  • Provide supportive therapy and evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, crisis stabilization)
  • Offer psychoeducation to patients and families

Integrated Care & Collaboration

  • Partner with primary care, behavioral health, and social work teams
  • Coordinate referrals for therapy, substance use services, or specialty care
  • Advocate for patient needs across systems

Professional Practice

  • Uphold HIPAA, ethical standards, and state/federal regulations
  • Participate in quality improvement and compliance activities
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in the EMR

Required Qualifications – MUST Have

To be considered, candidates must meet the following:

Current NH Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license (with psychiatric specialization)
Current NH Registered Nurse License
Certification by applicable psychiatric professional body
Current BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year of psychiatric NP experience preferred

These requirements ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-centered psychiatric care.

Who Thrives Here

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Compassionate, calm, and grounded
  • Skilled at communicating with diverse populations
  • Able to collaborate across multiple disciplines
  • Flexible, solution-focused, and open to growth
  • Dedicated to community health and equitable access

You’ll embody our values:
Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence

???? Our Culture

At GSCH, you’ll join a team of qualified, supportive professionals who treat each other — and our patients — with dignity and respect. We believe in:

  • Professionalism under pressure
  • Trustworthiness and accountability
  • Positive communication
  • Flexibility and continuous learning
  • Stewardship of resources and time

???? Make an Impact. Join a Mission that Matters.

If you’re ready to use your psychiatric expertise to support families, strengthen communities, and expand mental health access for all — we’d love to meet you.

Your work will change lives.
Your compassion will shape futures.
Your expertise will help build a healthier, stronger Seacoast community.
