???? What You’ll Do
Psychiatric Assessment & Clinical Care
- Complete psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and mental status exams
- Assess risk, including suicide, homicide, and safety concerns
- Screen for substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions
Psychopharmacology
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Monitor progress, side effects, adherence, and therapeutic response
Psychotherapeutic Interventions
- Provide supportive therapy and evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, crisis stabilization)
- Offer psychoeducation to patients and families
Integrated Care & Collaboration
- Partner with primary care, behavioral health, and social work teams
- Coordinate referrals for therapy, substance use services, or specialty care
- Advocate for patient needs across systems
Professional Practice
- Uphold HIPAA, ethical standards, and state/federal regulations
- Participate in quality improvement and compliance activities
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in the EMR
⭐ Required Qualifications – MUST Have
To be considered, candidates must meet the following:
✔ Current NH Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license (with psychiatric specialization)
✔ Current NH Registered Nurse License
✔ Certification by applicable psychiatric professional body
✔ Current BLS Certification
✔ Minimum 1 year of psychiatric NP experience preferred
