Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Patient Access Specialist to support front-end patient access operations in Massachusetts. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, service-focused, and comfortable guiding patients through registration and scheduling processes. In this role, you will help create a smooth arrival experience by confirming information, coordinating appointments, and supporting accurate intake workflows.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and provide attentive assistance during registration, check-in, and related access activities.
• Collect, review, and update demographic, insurance, and other required intake information to maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate patient appointments and scheduling needs while helping ensure timely communication around visit details.
• Verify medical insurance coverage and confirm eligibility information before services are provided when applicable.
• Respond to patient questions with clarity and empathy, helping resolve routine access and registration concerns.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in applicable systems while following established procedures and privacy standards.
• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient patient flow and address front-end operational needs.
• Support updates to registration or scheduling workflows as needed, including process changes introduced within the department.• Experience in patient registration, patient access, or a similar healthcare administrative role.
• Working knowledge of appointment scheduling processes in a medical setting.
• Familiarity with medical insurance verification and eligibility review.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist patients in a detail-oriented and compassionate manner.
• High level of accuracy when entering and reviewing patient information.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while staying organized.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
