Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license required
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for various student needs, grades K-12
- Comfortable working collaboratively with educators and other allied professionals
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and promoting inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
- Deliver direct physical therapy services onsite to students across grade levels
- Document student progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school protocols
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students’ educational programs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the design of classroom modifications when appropriate
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy and apply them within the school context
