Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with stepdown unit expertise to support patient care on the night shift in a critical access hospital setting. This contract opportunity offers a chance to apply clinical skills in a dynamic environment, providing care across PCU, MedSurg, and Telemetry units. The role requires independent practice and the ability to perform charge nurse responsibilities, including leadership and team coordination during shifts. Flexibility to float to other units as needed is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care on PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry night shifts
• Perform charge nurse duties, guiding team members and managing unit workflow
• Float to various units to meet staffing and patient care demands
• Attend quarterly departmental education sessions to maintain and enhance clinical competencies

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with experience in stepdown, MedSurg, telemetry, or PCU nursing
• Proven ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
• Leadership skills sufficient to assume charge nurse roles
• Flexibility to adapt to varied unit assignments and patient care needs

Schedule:

• Night shifts
• Every other weekend rotation required
