Responsibilities Include
- The installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures
- The ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste and drainage systems
- The execution of plans for installation and service of plumbing systems, piping equipment, fixtures and controls. These piping systems may be used to transport water, waste, gasses or hot liquids.
Required Skills
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair skills
- Knowledge of steam, water, and natural gas distribution systems maintenance and repair
- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade
- Ability to lead others in troubleshooting and emergency repairs
- Ability to develop and implement planned maintenance programs
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures
- Valid driver’s license is required
