This contract opportunity is ideal for School Psychologists and Counselors who are passionate about supporting Pre-K through 6th-grade students. Currently, the role offers .7 (28 hours) per week, with potential for full-time if needed, and involves working across two locations.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or Counselor (as required by the state)
- Experience working within a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Strong background in both individual and small group counseling
- Ability to create and implement intervention strategies and provide overall school-based support
- Solid communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, students, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver counseling services to Pre-K through 6th-grade students in both individual and small group settings
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Support the development and implementation of intervention plans to address academic, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with staff and families to promote student well-being and a positive learning environment
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and ongoing support to contribute to a healthy school climate
