RN – House Supervisor (Travel) – Summary
- Location: Morristown (Morrisville/Stowe), VT
- Facility: Critical Access Hospital
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 36 hrs/week guaranteed
Role Overview:
- Acts as the onsite administrative leader during nights/weekends/holidays
- Oversees hospital-wide operations including staffing, patient flow, and clinical coordination
- Serves as backup to department managers and ensures smooth facility operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staffing, patient placement, and resource allocation
- Handle patient/family concerns and risk management issues
- Coordinate across departments to maintain quality care
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and supervision to staff
Requirements:
- RN with minimum 1 year experience (leadership/house supervisor experience preferred)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, STABLE
- Comfortable in a critical access hospital setting
Additional Details:
- EMR: CPSI/Evident
- No call, no holiday requirement
- Overtime after 40 hrs
- Broad clinical knowledge required due to hospital-wide oversight role
