Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ACLS certification, and NH state licensure to join a busy cardiac team.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a cardiac catheterization lab performing elective and emergent PCI, pacemaker, and ICD implants
  • Handle an average daily caseload of 4 patients in a 1-room lab
  • Procedures include balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization
  • Treats STEMI patients and supports IABP and Impella devices
  • Day shift schedule with options for 4x10 or 5x8 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 or 6:00 PM
  • Call coverage is required; no floating or weekend duties
  • Uses Epic EMR, and experience with this system is required
  • First-time travelers will be considered depending on overall experience
  • Unit performs a wide range of complex cardiac procedures including STEMI interventions and device placements
  • Opportunities for involvement in cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring, and EP procedures are available for experienced candidates
  • Scrubs of any color or pattern are permitted
  • Returning employees from any SolutionHealth facility will not be considered
  • Local candidates living within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate

\n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a cath lab setting
  • Current ACLS, ARRT or RCIS certification required
  • Valid NH state license is required if applicable
  • Only AHA or Red Cross certifications are accepted
  • Experience with Epic EMR system required
  • Proficiency with scrubbing, balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, and Impella insertion
  • Professional references required for consideration
