This contract opportunity invites you to make a meaningful difference while maintaining a balanced schedule—work 20 hours weekly, spread across five days at four hours per day.
You'll leverage your expertise to help students reach their full potential, collaborating with teachers and staff to design and implement individualized education plans in multiple charter school environments. Your adaptability and commitment will empower young people across different campuses, ensuring they receive the personalized instruction and encouragement they deserve.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for New Hampshire
- Previous experience with IEP development, documentation, and implementation
- Skilled in adapting curriculum and instructional methods for diverse learning needs
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between charter schools
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and interventions in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
- Maintain organized records, prepare progress reports, and attend IEP meetings
- Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment tailored to individual student needs
