Learning Support Specialist / Educational Teaching Assistant
Location: Boston, MA
Pay: $30–$35/hour
Employment Type: Contract

Help one elementary student build confidence, stay engaged, and succeed in the classroom through personalized academic support.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one academic support throughout the school day.
• Adapt classroom lessons to meet the student's learning needs.
• Support focus, organization, and classroom transitions.
• Collaborate with teachers to align instruction and learning goals.
• Communicate progress with the school team and family.
• Maintain daily progress notes.

What you'll need

• Associate degree or diploma in Education, Special Education, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
• Experience providing one-on-one or small-group instruction.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction and individualized learning strategies.
• Familiarity with ADHD, attention challenges, and executive functioning support.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Reliable, patient, and able to work independently in a school setting.
