What we’re seeking:
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Capacity to follow therapy plans and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with documentation and progress monitoring procedures
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Key responsibilities:
- Implement therapy activities and interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support students individually or in small groups to build speech, language, and social communication skills
- Prepare materials for sessions and assist with recordkeeping and progress documentation
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to collaborative planning for student success
- Communicate regularly with supervising SLP, teachers, and families regarding student progress
