Description

We are looking for a customer-focused User Support Technician I to join our IT User Services team. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is passionate about technology, problem solving, and delivering exceptional employee experiences.

You’ll serve as the front line of IT support, helping employees stay productive by resolving technical issues, supporting modern workplace technologies, and contributing to continuous improvement of IT services.

This is a fully onsite role based at our Marlborough, MA location with standard working hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break.

What You’ll Do

End User Support

• Provide multi-channel support via Service Desk tickets, Microsoft Teams, phone, and walk-up support

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:

o Windows 10/11 devices

o Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)

o Hardware (laptops, peripherals, mobile devices)

• Deliver a high-quality customer experience with clear, professional communication

Device & Asset Management

• Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops and equipment

• Maintain asset inventory, including procurement, tracking, and lifecycle management

• Support loaner equipment program

Access & Identity Support

• Assist with account provisioning, password resets, and access management

• Support Active Directory / Azure AD user account management via AD Manager Plus

Operational Support

• Manage and document tickets in ServiceNow

• Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with Tier 2/3 teams

• Follow and contribute to standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles

Onsite & Remote Support

• Provide onsite support at assigned location with occasional travel to other local sites as needed

• Support remote employees using modern remote support tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with a customer-first attitude

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with:

o Active Directory / Azure AD

o ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or similar)

o Endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM)

• Exposure to:

o Identity and access management concepts

o Endpoint security tools (AV/EDR)

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals are a

This is a Contract position based out of Marlborough, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
