Your expertise will help students reach their fullest potential, addressing diverse needs across a varied caseload. As an integral part of the school environment, you’ll engage closely with educators, families, and support staff to create meaningful learning experiences and positive outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist licensure
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students, per individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, document, and evaluate student needs and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to develop appropriate interventions and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance guidelines
This full-time, five-day per week role consists of 35 hours and offers a competitive pay of $45 per hour, delivered through weekly direct deposits.
