Qualifications Needed:
- Current Special Education Teacher certification in Massachusetts
- Experience with preschool or early childhood special education preferred
- Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Ability to develop effective IEPs and communicate with families
- Excellent collaboration skills with related service providers, staff, and parents
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for children ages 3-5
- Adapt curriculum and modify class activities to accommodate diverse learning needs
- Track student progress, maintain documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Foster an engaging, inclusive classroom promoting growth in social, emotional, and academic skills
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and allied staff
- Engage regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and needs
