Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This assignment supports a male student requiring 1:1 care, including transportation support, with consistent hours throughout the school year and summer. Key Qualifications:

  • Active nursing license in Massachusetts (LPN or RN)
  • Experience delivering 1:1 care to children or adolescents, ideally in an educational or pediatric environment
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism at all times
  • Reliability and adaptability in dynamic school and transportation settings
  • Competency in documenting care and following care plans as directed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, 1:1 nursing care to a student during the school day and while in transit
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and monitor for any health needs or emergencies
  • Collaborate with educational staff, healthcare professionals, and family to ensure comprehensive support for the student
  • Maintain accurate records of care and communicate updates as necessary
  • Uphold confidentiality and comply with district, state, and professional standards

This contract position offers approximately 40 hours a week, including reliable support for transportation, with confirmed assignment through December 2026 and the possibility for extension.
