Job Description

We are seeking a Board-CertifiedGastroenterology Physician for a locums opportunity in central, Massachusetts.This position focuses exclusively on gastrointestinal procedures for adultpatients in a collaborative clinical setting.

The ideal candidate is experienced in routineGI procedures and can provide efficient, high-quality patient care.

Compensation: $500- $520 Per Hour

Responsibilities

· Perform upper and lower endoscopicprocedures, including upper endoscopies and colonoscopies.

· Provide routine, bread-and-buttergastroenterology procedural care.

· Complete approximately 12–16 procedures perday.

· Document procedures and clinical findingsaccurately in Epic.

· Follow established clinical protocols andpatient safety standards.

Schedule and Practice Details

· Three 8-hour shifts per week, ideallyWednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

· Scheduled hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

· Procedures-only coverage; no routineoutpatient clinic responsibilities.

· Adult patient population.

· EMR: Epic.

· Approximately 12–16 procedures daily.

Requirements

· Board-Certified in Gastroenterology.

· Active Massachusetts medical license.

· Current BLS certification.

· Active DEA registration.

· Experience performing upper endoscopies andcolonoscopies.
