Enable reliable, manufacturable RF and Digital modules by selecting, qualifying, and sustaining the components that power them.

Impact areas

• Component strategy for electrical and mechanical assemblies aligned to reliability and lifecycle objectives.
• Selection and qualification of ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, and diverse electronic parts.
• Continuity of supply: mitigate obsolescence and shortages through multi-sourcing, alternates, and well-defined substitution plans.
• Documentation excellence: produce Vendor Identification Drawings, Source Control Drawings, and Altered Item Drawings.
• Cost stewardship: create accurate project cost analysis forecasts to guide decisions.
• Verification rigor: execute thorough testing of products, supporting software, and test infrastructure.
• Program execution: meet schedule and budget commitments.

What you will handle

• Design, development, and ongoing support of Digital and RF products from a component perspective.
• Evaluation and qualification plans that demonstrate components meet product-level requirements.
• Research into termination styles, plastic encapsulations, and component construction for robust decision making.
• Supplier collaboration, alternate source identification, and qualification strategy creation.
• Technical and regulatory documentation completion to applicable standards.
• Cross-functional communication that keeps engineering, operations, and vendors aligned.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combined education and experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical component parameters and packaging.
• Demonstrated knowledge of high reliability military component standards and specifications.
