Job DescriptionRF/Digital Component Engineering Specialist Your mission
Enable reliable, manufacturable RF and Digital modules by selecting, qualifying, and sustaining the components that power them.
Impact areas
- Component strategy for electrical and mechanical assemblies aligned to reliability and lifecycle objectives.
- Selection and qualification of ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, and diverse electronic parts.
- Continuity of supply: mitigate obsolescence and shortages through multi-sourcing, alternates, and well-defined substitution plans.
- Documentation excellence: produce Vendor Identification Drawings, Source Control Drawings, and Altered Item Drawings.
- Cost stewardship: create accurate project cost analysis forecasts to guide decisions.
- Verification rigor: execute thorough testing of products, supporting software, and test infrastructure.
- Program execution: meet schedule and budget commitments.
What you will handle
- Design, development, and ongoing support of Digital and RF products from a component perspective.
- Evaluation and qualification plans that demonstrate components meet product-level requirements.
- Research into termination styles, plastic encapsulations, and component construction for robust decision making.
- Supplier collaboration, alternate source identification, and qualification strategy creation.
- Technical and regulatory documentation completion to applicable standards.
- Cross-functional communication that keeps engineering, operations, and vendors aligned.

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combined education and experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical component parameters and packaging.
- Demonstrated knowledge of high reliability military component standards and specifications.
