Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
- Deliver therapeutic services including individual, couples, and family counseling, applying a variety of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
- Foster a therapeutic alliance by collaborating with clients to set, monitor, and achieve their personal therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
- Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and keeping abreast of emerging trends in mental health care.

Qualifications\n

- A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- An active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license issued in the state of Vermont is mandatory.
- Previous experience of at least 2 years in a clinical setting, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Proficient in evidence-based methods and possess excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team, with strong organizational skills to manage your caseload effectively.
