Pride Motor Group is a leader in automotive retail in the Greater Lynn area. We are looking to add qualified and experienced Parts Counter People to our team at Pride. Our Parts Counter Wholesale Person should be passionate and dedicated to serving our customers and internal associates within the dealership. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The ideal candidate:
- Excellent communication skills. - - Interacts well with others and is a positive influence on morale.
- - Converses effectively/efficiently regarding guest parts status
- - Reads and understands the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts
- - Answers phone calls and provides price quotes
- -Makes suggestions when appropriate regarding specific parts and accessories that may be needed for each job
- Works with Outside Sales Reps with new account leads.
- Works with drivers to coordinate deliveries and pickups as needed
- Keeps inventory control system and parts catalog up to date
- Is polite and friendly, greets guests promptly, and delivers exceptional customer service.
- Actively seeks and obtains a thorough knowledge of parts history, merchandise, and automobile service.
- Works with parts manager and aids in reaching set goals for profitability and sales of parts and accessories
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CDK experience is preferred
- Two or more year’s of related experience in a dealership automotive parts department required.
- One or more years of sales experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid computer skills needed.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
