Registered Nurse – Stepdown in Keene, New Hampshire. This travel assignment starts on 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,062 to $2,126 and a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The role is night shift in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting and involves coordinating care for adult-geriatric patients in a step-down unit on a 36-hour per week schedule.

Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients in the step-down unit, including assessment, planning, and patient/family education.
- Administer medications, including cardiac drips and other IV therapies, and monitor responses per protocol.
- Monitor patient status and telemetry data, interpret clinical information, and escalate changes to the care team as needed.
- Document accurately in the Epic EMR and participate in rounds, care coordination, and discharge planning.
- Support dementia care and behavior management as appropriate, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- May float to related units as needed and adhere to professional nursing standards and facility policies.
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license recognized by New Hampshire
- BLS (AHA) certification; ACLS (AHA) certification
- 2+ years of Med/Surg experience; cardiac drip experience; dementia care/management experience
- EPIC EMR experience required; NIHSS strongly preferred
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Must have own vehicle for travel assignments
- RTO acceptance: requests up to 5 days; Halloween (Oct 31) not approved for this assignment
