We are seeking a dependable and professional Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and vendors at a residential community. The ideal candidate is attentive, disciplined, and committed to upholding community standards while ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
Access Control
- Monitor and document all vehicles entering and exiting the property.
- Issue and track visitor and contractor passes.
- Verify vendor and contractor authorization before granting entry.
- Maintain accurate and detailed visitor and vehicle logs.
Patrol & Enforcement
- Conduct regular property patrols to ensure safety and rule compliance.
- Enforce parking, snow, and property rules by issuing violation notices when necessary.
- Identify and report hazards, maintenance concerns, or suspicious activity.
- Record all observations and incidents clearly in daily reports.
Emergency Response
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies or disturbances.
- Contact 911 or relevant emergency services when needed.
- Assist first responders by providing access and directions.
- Complete written incident reports promptly after any event.
Communication & Professionalism
- Greet all residents, guests, and vendors courteously and respectfully.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding incidents, maintenance issues, and contractor activity.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Daily and Seasonal Duties
- Submit daily activity reports and updates to management.
- Conduct nightly clubhouse and facility checks to ensure all doors are locked and secured.
- During pool season, confirm all pool gates and restrooms are properly locked after hours.
- Monitor move-ins and move-outs, remind residents of disposal rules, and report violations or debris with photos when necessary.
