What You'll Do!
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll work closely with the Facility General Manager and Cultivation Manager, whose primary responsibilities will include maintaining the building's equipment, structure, and appearance in compliance with state and county cannabis regulations. You will oversee the operation and maintenance of key equipment such as lights, HVAC systems, rolling benches, and plumbing, ensuring they function properly.
The role also involves a significant amount of physical labor and you may be required to assist with day-to-day cultivation duties. This will include spending time working in cultivation areas such as flower and veg rooms, helping with tasks like lighting maintenance, equipment repair, and ensuring that all areas meet operational standards. As required, you will collaborate with the cultivation team to maintain the overall health and efficiency of the cultivation environment which may include participating in cultivation tech activities.
Education & Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building structures
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Takes initiative in completing assigned tasks
- Experience working within a regulated industry
- Experience working in controlled environments on 20 ft ladder
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license (mileage will be paid for travel)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Maintenance: 3 years (Required)
- HVAC: 3 years (desired)
- Plumbing: 3 years (desired)
- Electrical: 3 years (desired)
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.
- Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday.
- Proficiency in ladder climbing and operating from heights of up to 15 feet from ground level while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables.
