Physical Therapist (PT) – PRN
Blackstone Valley | Whitinsville, MA
$60–$65/hour | PRN
Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide PRN rehabilitation services at Blackstone Valley in Whitinsville, MA. Help residents improve mobility, rebuild strength, and move safely through their daily routines while working with a collaborative skilled nursing rehab team.
What You'll Do

Evaluate residents' strength, balance, gait, and functional mobility to establish individualized treatment goals.

Develop and deliver treatment plans for residents recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or changes in physical function.

Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and transfer practice tailored to each resident's abilities and precautions.

Educate residents and caregivers on assistive devices, fall prevention, and strategies for safe mobility.

Assess progress, adjust treatment approaches, and coordinate discharge recommendations with the care team.

Complete timely clinical documentation and provide direction to PTAs involved in residents' care.
What We Offer

$60–$65 per hour.

PRN scheduling based on your availability and facility coverage needs.

Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.

Support from therapy leadership and collaboration with nursing, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
Qualifications

Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license.

Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
