Work Environment\n

In this remote work setting, Mental Health Counselors will engage with patients virtually, conducting sessions designed to offer support, assessment, and therapeutic interventions. Our practice values flexibility, so while the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be opportunities to adjust hours to meet our patients' needs efficiently. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and treatment goals, creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.

  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community engagement and provide educational resources to address shared mental health concerns.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients, enhancing their treatment experience.

  • Offer crisis intervention services for patients in acute distress, maintaining professionalism and poise during critical situations.

  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and private patient documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Qualifications\n

  • Current licensure in Massachusetts as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
