Med-Surg / PCU / Telemetry Registered Nurse – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:00 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
  • \n

  • Weekend Protocol: Every other weekend rotation required.
  • \n

  • Holiday Protocol: Holiday coverage required as needed.
  • \n

  • Assignment Length: 13-Week Contract (Start Date: 08/31/2026)
  • \n

  • Transportation Note: Personal vehicle strongly recommended due to limited public transportation in the rural Northeast Kingdom area.
  • \n

  • \n

    Education Requirement: Contract staff are required to attend department quarterly education sessions.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]\n

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 5 years of active clinical experience as a Med-Surg / Progressive Care (PCU) / Telemetry RN in an acute care or critical access facility.
  • \n

  • Charge Nurse Leadership Mandate [CRITICAL HARDSTOP]: Candidates MUST be capable of working independently and performing Charge Nurse duties on the unit.
  • \n

  • EMR Mandate: Clinical documentation experience in Cerner EMR is required.
  • \n

  • Floating Protocol: Candidate must be willing and flexible to float to other inpatient units based on facility needs.
  • \n

  • Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:\n
      \n
    • Active Vermont State RN License (License upon acceptance is permitted).
    • \n

    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
    • \n

    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
    • \n
