We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to handle a varied caseload involving divorce, child custody, child support, guardianship, alimony, and other domestic relations matters. This position is suited for an attorney who is comfortable working directly with clients and taking ownership of cases from initial consultation through resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage family law cases independently from intake through settlement or trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, discovery requests, and other legal documents
- Represent clients at hearings, negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
- Provide practical legal advice while keeping clients informed throughout their case
- Work with firm staff to maintain deadlines, filings, and organized case records
Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts Bar license and good standing
- Previous family law or related litigation experience preferred
- Strong courtroom, negotiation, legal research, and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple active matters and sensitive client situations
Salary:
- $85,000 – $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
