Qualifications:
- Current New Hampshire OT certificate is required
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Capacity to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments for elementary students to determine therapy needs
- Develop and execute individualized therapy plans within a school-based framework
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing professional input to team discussions
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services, adapting approaches for varying abilities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Partner with educators to integrate OT strategies into classroom environments
- Communicate regularly with families regarding therapy plans and student progress
