Key Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with supporting students academically, behaviorally, or with special needs
- Ability to collaborate closely with teachers and educational staff
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliability and adaptability working with diverse student populations
- Enthusiasm for creating positive learning environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications a plus
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct classroom support to teachers and students, adapting to various grade levels from elementary through high school
- Assist students with assignments, organization, and daily classroom activities
- Support students needing extra help, including those with learning differences or individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment, reinforcing positive behaviors and encouraging participation
- Participate in planning and supervision of activities, both in and outside the classroom
- Offer one-on-one or small group assistance to facilitate student engagement and success
