Key Qualifications:
- Current certification to teach Special Education (or eligibility to obtain credentials by start date)
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commitment to individualized instruction and inclusive practices
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to high school students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt general education curriculum and collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure accessibility
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and ongoing communication with families and team members
- Support student engagement, independence, and social-emotional development within the school community
