Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a related educational support role is highly valued
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, students, and staff in both middle and high school settings
- Patience, adaptability, strong communication, and organization skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certifications a plus
- Commitment to working the full school year, September 2026 through June 2027
- Willingness to take direction, manage varied classroom tasks, and learn new skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classrooms and small groups
- Assist with the implementation of teacher-planned activities and specialized instruction
- Adapt to different classroom settings and student needs
- Monitor student progress, safety, and engagement throughout the school day
- Foster a welcoming and supportive learning environment
