Employment & Litigation Associate - Boston, MA
A premier Boston boutique law firm is seeking a highly qualified Employment & Litigation Associate to join its growing practice. The firm represents nonprofit, for-profit, public-sector clients, and individuals in employment, litigation, health and human services, real estate, affordable housing, education, and related matters.
The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in employment law and/or litigation, with experience managing cases throughout the litigation lifecycle, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, court appearances, trial preparation, and alternative dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise employers and employees on wage and hour, leave, accommodations, performance, disciplinary, and restrictive covenant matters.

Handle employment litigation involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, and restrictive covenant disputes.

Draft and review employment agreements, offer letters, separation agreements, confidentiality agreements, handbooks, and policies.

Represent clients before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.

Manage matters independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and clients.
Qualifications:

Massachusetts Bar membership or eligibility to waive in.

Strong litigation and employment law experience.

Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Strong academic credentials and work ethic.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
