An opportunity is available for a registered nurse with emergency room experience to provide care in a dynamic emergency department setting. This contract position requires at least two years of hospital experience and an active compact nursing license at the time of application.

Location: Dover, NH
This role is situated in a hospital that is equipped with state-of-the-art GE medical equipment and uses the Expanse documentation system. The emergency department has an 18-bed head wall configuration and an additional 10 beds in halls, maintaining a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 5:1. The department operates on a variable staffing model including unit secretaries and techs to support patient care. Nurses in this unit must be comfortable floating and adapting to multiple service areas as needed. The schedule typically includes 36 hours per week with flexible options available.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse with Emergency Room expertise
  • Minimum two years of hospital experience required
  • Active compact nursing license
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Must hold or obtain ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), TNCC, and CPI certifications
  • Proficient in emergency care procedures and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable wearing scrubs as the standard uniform
