Key Qualifications:
- Prior experience working as a paraprofessional in a school environment preferred
- Understanding of the unique needs of middle or high school students
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide both individual and group support as directed by instructional staff
- Adaptable and patient approach to changing classroom dynamics
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support teachers with academic instruction and classroom management
- Assist students with assignments, activities, and access to resources
- Encourage student participation and engagement in learning
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to help create a positive educational experience
