Role: Payment Poster- Healthcare Billing

Location: Braintree, MA

Employment Type: Contract

Pay: $24 – $28 / hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8.5-hour days | Flexible start between 7–9 AM

Benefits: This position is eligible for health, dental, vision and paid sick time.


A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Payment Poster to support its billing operations at the corporate office in Braintree, MA. This is a contract role with potential for permanent hire in the new year, staffed through Addison Group.


Key Responsibilities

  • Post and reconcile payments (checks, EFTs, credit cards, 835 files)
  • Work daily reports of payments received via various channels
  • Monitor and resolve remit station errors
  • Handle denials
  • Download and post EOBs manually or electronically
  • Collaborate with team members to complete posting tasks

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 2+ years of healthcare billing and payment posting experience
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (any accepted)
  • Strong knowledge of MassHealth and denial management
